The mark

A trace, to be carried.

Every house we write for receives the Vedere House mark — quiet, typographic, free of ornament. To place in a footer, on a threshold, on an invitation card.

Vedere House — Moments that stay

What a publication holds

A vintage typewriter and books on a table beside a lit lamp.

01

A piece, written.

About nine hundred words, written by the editors. A verdict, a particulars rail, three signature moments. Without formula.

A grand library with tall bookshelves and arched windows.

02

Bilingual, kept.

French and English on vederehouse.com, indexed and kept — the page remains after the visit, long after.

A fountain pen at rest on lined paper.

03

A trace, given.

The mark, the imagery, a letter that follows. What leaves with the house after publication — to carry as you wish.

No paid placements, no advertorial, no sponsored content. When a house hosts a visit, it is disclosed at the foot of the article — and the verdict remains ours.

Considerations

A few questions, anticipated.

Do you approve the article before publication?
No. We offer a factual review in the twenty-four hours before publication — to correct a name, a date, a particular. The verdict belongs to the editors.
Does the mark have a cost?
None. It is given at publication, and it stays. We do not licence what we have already chosen to write.
Can we propose ourselves?
You can write to us. We read everything. We approach houses on our own initiative — a proposal does not shorten that path.
What is expected of us during a visit?
Two nights, plainly. A room, a table, an afternoon. Editorial attention. We bring our own pen and our own conscience.

For the rooms, the tables and the afternoons that earn the page.

Write to partnerships@vederehouse.com. We read everything; we reply to what resonates with the page.
