What we collect
Vedere House collects only what is necessary to publish the site and reply to readers. Specifically: aggregated, anonymous traffic data via Vercel Analytics (page views, country, device class — no IP addresses are stored, no cross-site tracking), and the email address you give us if you subscribe to the weekly letter. We do not buy, sell, rent, or share data with third parties.
How we use it
We use traffic data to understand what is read and to improve the editorial. We use newsletter emails only to send the weekly letter and occasional editorial notes. If you write to us at hello@vederehouse.com or editorial@vederehouse.com, we keep that correspondence in our inbox so we can answer you.
How long we keep it
Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe (one click in any letter). Aggregated traffic data is kept for thirty days. Reader correspondence is kept until the matter is concluded.
Cookies
The site sets one cookie — `NEXT_LOCALE` — to remember which language you prefer. It is strictly necessary for the site to function and does not require consent. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, third-party trackers, social-network pixels, or marketing-automation tags. Traffic statistics are collected via Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and does not store IP addresses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to confirm what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Write to hello@vederehouse.com and we will reply within thirty days.
