Vedere House

Terms

How we publish.

Editorial standards, image rights, and the limits of our recommendations.

Editorial standards

Vedere House is an independent editorial travel house. Every entry on the register — hotels, tables, afternoons — is chosen by the editors, not submitted. We do not accept paid placements, advertorial, or content marketing under any name. We do accept hosted visits where the property meets our editorial standard; in those cases the visit is disclosed at the foot of the article and editorial control remains with us.

Image rights

Photography on this site is either original to Vedere House, licensed from a stock provider, or used by permission of the property. Do not redistribute or republish without written permission — write to editorial@vederehouse.com.

Recommendations

The site is a record of where we have gone and what we have liked. It is not advice. Hotels change ownership, chefs leave, rooms are renovated; if you book on the strength of a piece, do your own check that the property is still as we describe it. We are not responsible for the experience itself.

Limits

We do not provide medical, financial, legal, or travel-insurance advice. Travel involves judgement and risk; the responsibility for the trip is yours.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Paris.
